Hi. I Have Been Taking 7.5mg Of Zopiclone For About

Hi. I have been taking 7.5mg of zopiclone for about 5 years. As the effects of the zopiclone stopped working I started mixing it with alcohol and weed.

A week ago I realised what a mess I was in the evenings and throughout the day so I decided just to give it all up, I wasn't sleeping anymore and just had an horrendous headache all the time. Physically I have had no withdrawal symptoms but my insomnia is the worst it's ever been.

Have I done the right thing by just giving it all up? My brain just won't keep quiet while I am trying to go to sleep (that's always been my problem). My doctor doesn't believe in insomnia and when I had spoken to him about the zopiclone his attitude is 'oh well, you're addicted now'.
