Hi, I have been taking the antipsychotic geodon for schizoaffective disorder for 12+ years now. I am worried about side effects, I have tongue thrusting at times and grunting and laughing when I am really involved in something interesting. I also have a feeling of hysteria inside for no reason other than experiencing reality. I believe this is Tardive Dyskinesia from my research, I am wondering if switching to a different medication would help? do mood stabilizers cause td? I do not have problems with my thoughts anymore just my moods.
