I have been undergoing treatment for asthma since 1997/98 (as per my parents) though I have been having allergic rhinitis since 93 or 94 and have gone through a number of medications so far that are listed in chronological order:

1. Initially used aerocort / salbutamol inhalers as asthma attacks would be very severe. This alternated and carried on for almost 10 years from 1998 to 2008.
2. In september 2009 I got my allergy prick test which revealed that I had sensitivity to following allergens:
Pollens
a. Cannabis Sativa
b. Oodonea Viscosa
c. Lanlsonia
d. Prosopis Juliflora
Fungii
a. Asp. Flavus
b. Asp. Tamarii
c. Asp. Versicolor
d. Candida Albicans
e. Cladosporium
Dusts
a. House Dust mite
b. House dust
c. Hay dust
Insects
a. Ants
b. Cockroach male
c. Cockroach female
d. House fly
e. Mosquito
f. Moth
Based on this I started a vaccine therapy where I had to keep applying vaccines subcutaneously every day then reduced frequency to once a month.
Between 2009-2012 it was fine as I was continuously taking the vaccines.
In addition I also had to keep taking below medicines on daily basis:
Seroflo 500/250 inhaler at bed time
Montair 10 mg once daily
Immunoboost tablet once daily
Aerocort inhaler as SoS only
Finally in August 2012 I discontinued all these medications including aerocort as no end seemed in sight w.r.t taking so many medicines. This however had drastic impact as after a month or so my health deteriorated and I had to go back to taking aerocort inhaler as SoS along with other antibiotics such as augmentin 625 / ceftum 200 from the numerous seasonal throat / chest infections.
I also switched to using nebulizer with duolin / salsol for 2012 end to 2013 September on an intermittent basis.
In 2013 November I started with homeopathic regime and managed to take almost all my medicines out except aerocort which I still kept as SoS despite my family and homeopathic doctor advising against it.
This had moderate results and I managed to be largely symptom free as long as I kept taking the homeopathic medicines.
However I was unable to completely do away with aerocort occasionally and its frequency varied from once daily as sos to not taking for a month at length.
I even started with yoga daily from November 2014 and that reduced the dependency on homeopathic treatment as well with aerocort still there as odd sos one. In fact first 4-5 months of 2015 I hardly took any homeopathic medicines and even aerocort.
However for last 4-5 months I have been compelled to use aerocort inhaler more often (though not more than once / twice a day) due to increase in pollution levels.
I also noticed of late that when I take inhaler I have mood swings and hands also tremble (at times it feels as if whole body is shaking) which becomes more if I am feeling angry (there have been quite a few angry outbursts in last 12 months) and it feels strange as I was not generally this angry / tense.
Note: I don't have diabetes or other condition, no Visual impairment either.
Few questions:
1. Does prolonged use of inhaler like aerocort have any implications such as hypertension / high bp etc? (my parents seem to think there's a correlation between my sudden anger flareups to increased use of aerocort lnhaler).
2. Will I still need to keep the inhaler around?
PS: I travelled to other cities like Bangalore / Mysore in may 2015 and London (2011) / Dalian in China (2014 jul Aug) / Singapore (2013 June) and immediately noticed that my dependence on all medicines almost eliminated as I managed fine without ANY medicine (except for one off aerocort inhaler). Even my doctor advised to try and change my place of residence from Delhi NCR to some other place.
