Hi I have contracted jherpes simplex type 2 from my long term partner who suffers with cold sores. This is my first outbreak and have been started on 200mg 5 X day. It is unbearable to pass urine and I even the lidocaine is agony to apply I am now panicking before I need to wee. I'm only drinking water and have lost my appetite I'm feeling very upset and wanted to know if I can increase the aciclovir dose and I ve been on it for 2 days now and no improvement ? Thanks
