Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I have had 2 shots of Prolia and recently have developed a “bump” on my upper gum between two teeth. My dentist felt it should be biopsied and sent me to an oral surgeon. He felt it was quite benign but did not want to biopsy it due to the fact that I had just had my Prolia shot 2 months ago. He wants to watch it and wants me back in 3 weeks. Do you think there is any connection between the Prolea and this “ bump” and would it be safe to biopsy it now? The area is not open, sore or bleeding & I would not have known it was there had I not gone to the dentist for another matter. Thanks so much in advance. Roles
