Hi I Need Some Advise From A Doctor Experienced With
Hi I need some advise from a doctor experienced with patients 42 yrs old, DOR and low response to medication during Ivf. My FSH 6.6 and AMH 1.04. I have done in one year one IUI and two fresh ivf's. At 41 i did IUI and was succeeded however I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks. IUI was a short antagonist protocol and no OC oral contraceptive. Ivf1 antagonista protocol with OC and only menopur 300 iu as stimulation. Had only 3 mature follicles and only one fertilized negative result. Ivf2 antagonist protocol OC + puregon 200 iu + 2 amps menopur 150iu + suprefact nasal spray. 2 mature follicles only one fertilized with icsi and none made it to transfer. I'm planning to do ivf3 after take a break of 5 months and taking supplements and acupuncture. My question is my new doctor advised me to do a long protocol starting one cycle early with Gonapeptyl for 14 days and than I'll get my period and on day 2 I'll starting taking the fostimon or puregon or gonal f ( it's not been decided yet) plus menopur. Because I'm having such terrible outcome. Do you think suppressing my ovaries with Gonapeptyl with give me a better outcome? Please help me I'm confused and lost. I also heard a good results on patients with DOR on protocols with letrozole 5 mg day 2-6 and on day 2 also starting the fostimon plus menopur having an excellent outcome results. Thank you!
