Hi. I noticed an oblong lump right above the anus opening. It was painful (sore) at first (that's how I found it) but now it only hurts when I push on it. It's under the skin and not visible. No discoloration of the skin. No bleeding with bowel movements. It's been there for 2 months. I have lots of mucus in my bowel movements. I've looked at several things online but nothing I've seen is exactly my case. I would go to doc but not sure what kind of doctor I need to see. Any ideas on what my problem is? Please.
