Hi. I use Lorazepam in order to fly. We fly from Ohio to CA about once a year or so. My Dr prescribed .5 mg for me and only wants me to take 1 tab before first flight (which is long) and maybe one more if absolutely necessary after 4-5 hours. Our last leg -a short flight-I get really anxious!! Feel like it isn't enough We head home tom and have a short 11/2 hour flight followed by a longer 4 to 4 1/2 flight. Called Dr office before holiday weekend to get advice on dosage. He will allow me to take 2 before we take off but no more rest of the day unless 6 hours pass. Now I am getting anxious about how drowsy I will be or how it will make me feel after first short flight! WillI be ok to change planes or have a layover for hour or so? My husband will be with me. Thank you
