Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I was diagnosed to have a PCOS then the doctor advised me to take pills within 3 months but when I stopped taking althea there is breast bump on the upper right breast so I decided to have a checkup but the doctor said that its not related and told me to take pills again and observed if that breast bump will disappear once I got my menstruation on that month but it didnt disappear. The breast bump is moving said the doctor. On the day I had my checkup on the surgery specialist I decided to have an operation to get the bump on my breast and check it if it is cancerous aftet the test its not cancerous its just a mass fibroadenoma that was the findings. I keep on taking pills to have monthly menstruation and observed that I gain weight, bright skin and mood changes I loved the result except having a bad mood always. So I consulted the doctor if I still Pcos and Im still pcos after the transvaginal ultrasound. Upon knowing that Im still Pcos and I am active from having sex intercourse I changed my pills to Diane 35. I am using it for 2 months and noticed that Im having a dry skin but no moodswing Im starting to love it except the dry skin. My question is do I need to go back to althea to have a bright skin or continue to use diane 35
