Hi. I was just diagnosed diabetic about three months ago. My dr put me on 2000mg metformin and blood work every 3 months. My dr then informed me that he was leaving at the end of October 2016. I just saw a diabetic nurse who showed me the ins and outs of this disease and set me up with a blood monitor kit requesting that I test at least once daily. Today was my first day. I took a reading before breakfast ( hard boiled egg and a yogurt) 11.1 2 hours after breakfast 13.5 then again before and after lunch (cheese, meat and crackers) ( 12.7 and 9.4). Should I be worried about these readings and go see someone. I don't feel different or off just really thirsty.
