Hi. I was recently diagnosed with syphlis and recieved a shot on May 11th. I had a rash on my stomach and also a sore throat , swollen glands, very itchy scalp and aches in my joints. I began feeling better and the rash went away. I felt good for about a week and now have a sore throat, cough, post nasal drip and feel very lightheaded. It almost feels like a have the flu because I have a cough as well. Could this be related to the syphlis or just bad luck? I did not go to get medical attention because I am scheduled to see a new doctor on Tuesday. It has been going on for almost a week now that I am feeling this way
