Hi I Would Like To Get A Straight Answer If

Hi I would like to get a straight answer if possible. My husband recently had a second cystoscopy to have an incision made to his bladder so the flow or urine would be better. This procedure did not happen due to complications, and has been rescheduled for this monday. He was discharged from hospital with the catheter in and they were going to leave it in for 10 days till the procedure could be completed. The catheter caused too many problems and he got an infection, so the catheter was removed after 5 days. Since the catheter has been removed he has been a little incontinent during the day, but manages to go to the toilet, but for the past 2 nights he has been completely incontinent, wetting himself, the bed, towels, and the diaper he's wearing. Is this normal after this procedure, or has his bladder been damaged?? He had a cystoscopy 2 months ago to have a look at what needing doing, and this didn't happen. I am very concerned, and scared for him to have the surgery on Monday!! What should I do, is this happening because his flow is no good, and the bladder is retaining this fluid? I am talking litres of urine, not a small leak? Please advise me.
