Hi I'm 30 weeks pregnant and have had a virus for a few days now where I keep going hot and cold. Now I have a real bad sore throat, there is no puss but I'm in agony and my ears feel like there about to burst. I don't get any sleep of a night because I cough up so much mucus and have to keep spitting it out. I've tried throat lozengers but they aren't working. Also tried gargling tcp and salt water but nothing seems to work. Can I take anything else?
