Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I'm 50 years old and haven't had my periods for 4 months so I suppose I'm Peri- menopausal. I've been having heel pain for a year now. It was first more on my right foot but now both feet are affected. A steroid injection on my right heel has not solved my problem. I do the necessary heel roll, ice pack and the exercises to strengthen my legs and have now resorted to bikes and spinning instead of using cross trainers or treadmills. I still go for a walk once a week as I like to be outdoors irrespective of the fact that I come back with more heel pain. My weight though is increasing so I've now started a low carb diet as well. It's all very frustrating.
