Hi I'm 53 And Went Through Menopause At Age 47

Hi I'm 53 and went through menopause at age 47 partial hysterectomy at age 41, one ovary left. I've recently, past 2 months, been DX with Hashimoto's though Ive been on synthroid since age 42. I've also been DX with Rheumatoid Disease past 2 months but have had symptoms longer. In June of this year, I've been hit with hot flashes that make me feel ill. They feel different than what I experienced when going through menopause at age 47. On a few occasions I've also had a measurable temperature with these any where from 99.2-100.9 but I often don't have measurable fever. Are these related to the Hashimoto's, Rheumatoid? I've been started on 5 mg prednisone and 15mg methotrexate along with 1mg folic acid. I had these symptoms before starting the meds. I did notice a decrease in the hot flashes when I was initially started on a higher dose of prednisone but they've increased when I've dropped to 5mg. Thank you
