Hi, I'm 65 and I've just finished 16 treatments of radiation after after having a lumpectomy for stage 1 cancer. My next treatment consists of Tomoxifen for 5 years but taking this drug terrifies me since I frequently have aura migraines. At the present I've had a brain scan since I've developed a new type of migraine which consist of a burning, nerve tingling that radiates on my right side of the face. This pain is always there. They did not find clots or mass in my head but the thought of taking Tomoxifen is stressing me. I don't want to take this drug since I already react to most chemical drugs and I'm afraid of the outcome if I should take this drug.
