Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I'm 70 years old male. About two months ago I started having pain in my left shoulder. Went to my doctor and he sent me in for an MRI of shoulder and referred my to a surgeon. The surgeon couldn't find anything that he could do so he referred me to a back and neck specialist. After an MRI of neck and more exrays, and tests for carpal tunnel he also couldn't find what was causing the pain. By this time the pain was in both shoulders, wrist and hands. Now he wants to inject cordizone into the shoulder joint for arthritis pain. Do you feel I should be seen by a radiologist before going through the cordizone treatments. Thanks Buck
