Hi. I'm a 14 year old male. Earlier last year I was taken to the hospital because I was having really severe headaches and I was vomiting. They said I had viral meningitis so I was hospitalized for a little over a week. After that, I was better for about a month. I Have always had a problem with migraines but they got a little worse after I got out of the hospital. But usually every few weeks, I start getting blurry spots and bright zig zag lines in my eyes. They usually last for an hour or so. Then they go away and the headache comes. I can't sleep, or eat and I usually roll around on my bed in pain during that time and it lastes until I fall asleep. I also get the feeling that I have to throw up too during that time but I haven't yet. That has happened about 5 times since I got out of the hospital. My eyes are also very sensitive to bright lite now. My mom took me to the doctors once because of this but the doctor just said to come back if it happens again. I have another doctors appointment in a few weeks but I just want a little information on what this might be now. Please respond as soon as you can and if you have any farther questions just ask.
