Hi, I'm Concerned I May Be High Risk For Clostridium

Hi,
I'm concerned I may be high risk for Clostridium Difficile infection due to prior symptoms following antibiotic use combined with today's administration of Clindamycin IV and oral meds for a tooth absess. Can I stop taking the Clindamycin 300 mg and resume the Penicillin 500 mg I was taking prior to IV? The IV was administered because I wasn't responding to Penicillin fast enough. What is the best solution going forward?
