Hi, I've Been Married 35yrs This Yr. Got Married At
Hi, I've been married 35yrs this yr. Got married at 16 had 4 boys and raising 2 grandsons in high school. I have always been the disciplinarian, bread winner and mom with no break raising kids. I was forced to get married (long story -parents had old fashion values etc.) My husband was a friend and some how ive made it work for the children. I turned 50 last yr and have a contolling spouse who has tried to make me believe what he thinks & believes. Its been a struggle and I just can't do it anymore. To my outside friends im this strong confident person and when im alone I crumble. My husband has me shattered. Deep down ive known were not compatible but I try and my focus is my kids and grandkids. How do I move on? How do I find my inner happy. The more I read the more I know I deserve to be in love, free to be me and happy. Thank you for any assistance. SG
