My brother, a presumably health individual in his mid-forties, fainted at work last week and he couldn't remember the events leading up to the event but was under the impression that he may have done or said something before he passed out. He left work and has not returned because no one will tell him what happened and he's afraid. He is extremely confused right now. He doesn't know if he has health insurance or money and is afraid to go to the doctor.

He lost a whole bunch of weight doing the keto diet and has been working out. He drinks lots of water and will only eat "clean" foods. My fear is that he may have gone into ketoacidosis or perhaps has an underlying ailment like a kidney infection that has rendered him extremely foggy brained and unable to make simple decisions.

We are all trying to get him to go to the doctor. I think that while his behavior has been erratic these past few weeks that he has a medical issue that is causing this.
