Hi, My Daughter Has Had Head Lice And Been Treated.

Hi,
My daughter has had head lice and been treated. We are pretty sure it is gone. I have no evidence of lice or nits in my hair but my scalp is a little itchy, red and burns a little bit. I am worried I may have lice. Can you have lice without seeing any nits or lice? I guess the lice could be there and I just can't see them??? I have had friends look and they said they see nothing?
