Hi, My grandson is 15 months old and has had multiple ear infections eventually get tubes placed. Last night my son said he was walking and put his head back and fell straight back. At first they thought he was being silly then he did it again. I guess he went to sleep and slept all night as usual. I went to visit today and he woke up from his nap and was stretching his head back again...off and on acting agitated, which is unusual for him. As the day went on he had an episode of where he had difficulty with a bowel movement. I put lotion around his rectum and he passed a hard large stool a short time later. My son called after I left and said he had a normal bowel movement and he was acting his normal self. in the mean time he had called his pediatrician and was told to watch him. A few minutes agao he called and told me they were taking him to Children's Er because he started throwing his head back again...Any ideas of what could be causing this? Thank you
