My great great nan had ginger hair and all down my nans brothers side of the family is red head or strawberry blonde. My mum is mousey brown and my dad is black/brown. My hair is brown but when the light shines on it, I have strands which show as a fiery pure ginger and some strawberry blonde
My partner a "dark and calm" shade of ginger hair. His dad is the same although is mum is a dull brown.
I've done trait checkers where I put myself as brown and my partner is red .
Brown- 50% Red- 16% strawberry blonde- 34%
I thought it would be a higher chance considering my family tree and my hairs ginger charicteristics but the calculator doesn't take that into account
Could you please give me a more accurate estimation of the chances of a ginger or strawberry blonde baby?
