Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, My husband had a neck dissection last week to remove lymph nodes. All went well. However a yellowish purple discoloration started on his chest after the surgery and has spread inches each day. there is no pain or tenderness. The doctors do not know what it is. They did a CT scan. He is scheduled for TORS surgery next week to remove an HPV 16 cancerous tonsil. We are very worried what the discoloration is and could it react negatively with the nest round of treatmetns and medications. thank you.
