Hi, My mom is 59 years old and weighs approx 90 kgs. She has menopause 2 years ago and has suddenly started beeding! After a detailed check up, she has now been diagnosed with a bulky uterus. Endometrium is thickened and is 6.5 mm. Two 0.7 x 0.7 cm small simple cysts are seen in the left ovary and one 1.1 cm snall simple cyst is seen in the right ovary. The result of her CA - 125 test was 44.6 U/ml She has now been suggested to get operated to remove her ovaries and uterus. Is this necessary and would there be any consequences of the same.
