Hi, Over Two Weeks Ago I Developed A Paronychia In

Hi,
Over two weeks ago I developed a paronychia in my right ring finger. The following day a pus pocket formed along the side of the nail, and I soaked it in warm water and it drained. Two weeks later, there is still no pus pocket visible but the area is still swollen and red, and a little tender to the touch. Whe squeezed, sometimes a tiny bit of pus comes out. Will this require antibiotics to go away?
Also, over the last few days I've been experiencing tingling and pressure feelings in the same arm. It started in the index finger but now seems to be generally affecting the whole arm. Could this be related to the paronychia in any way?
Many thanks
Inge
