Hi, about 6 years ago I had my gallbladder removed due to gallstones and had kidney stones as well. Since then haven't had really any issues with kidney stones. My worry is I've had right side pain for 6 years on and off. Went away for awhile but resurfaced again and hasn't gone away. I never know when the pain is going to start. Sometimes it's right when I wake up, other times it the middle of the day. And it lasts generally the rest of the day and from there I'm pretty much laying down on that side to relieve the pain.
