Hi and thank you! My father is an 88 year old fantastic male. He has been suffering terribly. His history includes hypertension, severe peripheral vascular disease, severe degenerative disc disease, and his lower left leg is weepy and he was treated for pseudomonas cellulitis of the lower leg. He is home now, but he still has the same complaint--his left leg is extremely painful and makes is impossible to walk. When he does walk he drags his right foot. Antibiotics cleared the infection. Pain management includes Oxycontin 10mg po q8h, initiated over 6 years ago for his spinal pain. He is now taking Dilaudid 1mg po q6h prn breakthrough pain. He wants to know what is causing the pain. In the hospital he had negative ultrasounds of his lower extremities and kidneys. Ejection fraction 65%. Please help me help him.
