My 4 year old son fell and bumped his head last night, he didn't go unconscious but he didn't even cry hardly and the knot was enormous and purple! I thought it might burst! He seemed fine but was very hyper and wide awake. The bump subsided and he finally went to sleep. I let him sleep in since he was up so late and the bump looks considerably better today. He refuses to take any pain reliever and is insisting that a yucky slime keeps filling his mouth and he keeps spitting it into hankie. He keeps having to wipe his nose as well and tries to keep spitting it into the garbage. He is distract because if it and wants my help but insists rinsing doesn't help and he also says is tummy hurts. I was trying to get him to eat but he says he can't because if the icky slime that keeps coming into his mouth. Could it be because of the bump to his head?
