Hi, can I answer your health question? Please type your question here...I had right foot surgery inFeb.2018 for bunion. Surgeon made incision & found area full of gout. No previous indication of gout. Finally Utica Acid test middle of May. It was 9.2. I was put on increasing doses of allopurinol until worked up to 300 mg fly. Just had more blood work July 3 results were: Utica acid 5.9; BUN 32H; creatinine 1.56H; eGFR non African american3; BUN/ creatinine ratio 21. What does this mean? Do I have gout still? Besides toe pain also have really painful right hand, swollen knuckles, pain using hand, bend & straighten fingers. Been 2 months getting worse. Is this all connected?
