Hi doc,
I would to ask if there is a possibility that i might acquire hiv from shaking hands with a person with unknown status.
The scenerio was, we're in a cinema watching a movie then he suddenly hold my right hand. We're holding hands mostly the entire time. Then we went outside to have dinner. I noticed that he has a cut on his finger with blood, dont know if thats the one he used when were holding hands. And i notice also that i have a needle like prick on my right hand.
I really need to know if this is somethig to worry about. I feel like i need to get tested immediately but i think its to early to confirm. Its giving me really a hard time. I think it too much. So much anxiety.
