Hi doc had a car accident back o July 24 went to hospital emergency room took xrays showed sprains & strains of neck and thoracic region. Was sent to workmans comp doctor and then he scheduled me for 5 weeks of physical therapy then he sent me to a orthopedicdoctor who order a emg, and mri' s of thorthoracic region and neck .Left arm has severe pain a tingling and numbness since day one of accident now. Emg showed acute radiculapathy in c-6 in neck now its going on tenth week and pain level has not dropped and shoulder is severely hurting and numbness and tingling is moving down arm down to thumb and prevalent everytime I touch and use left arm orthopedic docter immediately scheduled me to see a spine specialist waiting on appointment what should I expect and could I possibly sustained permanent nerve damage for them waiting so long to diagnose & treat?
