Hi, Doctor. For About A Month, I've Had These Symptoms:

Hi, doctor. For about a month, I've had these symptoms: sore throat, redness in back of throat, right tonsil seems swollen, and coughing up saliva (or white discharge I'm mistaking for saliva) and occasionally brown mucus. The coughing feels worse in the mornings but after coughing stuff up and some water the coughing subsides but does show up again occasionally throughout the day. I performed unprotected oral, unprotected analingus, and kissing on another person three days before these symptoms showed up. I got an STI screening at a sexual health clinic two weeks after potential exposure that excluded HPV and herpes, but it all came back negative. I got a strep throat swab test at an urgent care three weeks after symptoms showed up and that came back negative. I was put on allergy medication after that and even though my sinuses feel good (though I never felt an issue with them before) all the symptoms I listed above haven't gone away. Now, I wanna see an ENT specialist but should I go to a general practicioner first? Also, what do you think I could be sick with?
