Hi i have been suffering with belching, for four months now. with occasional stomach cramping, one episode sent me to ED dpartment for pain relief. Panadol, nurofen doesnt help. Nor does sodium citrate or gaviscon. I have had a gastroscopy which at the time showed mild gastritis and a 2cm hiatus hernia. But these do not account for my symptoms. Biopsy Urease test showed negative.
An ultrasound showed no inflamed gall bladder.
I have been on Omaprazole 40mg twice daily but there has only been four days in a row that have been symptom free.
Where shall I go from here?
Bowel motions have not really changed except from omaprazole, not as regular.
