i have experienced symptoms of a UTI for the past 5 days (i had a UTI 3 months ago, and these are relatively the same symptoms). on two occasions the pain has been extremely bad and uncomfortable and at other times it is only painful to urinate. i have also experienced blood in my urine. last night i had a dipstick test done, which showed high levels of protein and blood in my urine but no sign of infection, what could this mean?
