Hi, i overstretched my arm 6months ago resulting in swelling, armpit and arm pain and discolouration to my arm and hand which led me to think i may have had a blood clot but A&E carried out some simple tests and ruled that out. Now 6 months on i still have slight discolouration in my hand and fingers (reddish/purple at times, nothing like it was when I did it and seems to be improving very slowly but I was wondering if I have sustained permanent damage to an artery or something? I was at the time on high doses of steroids which did result in more prominent veins
