Hi im at aloss and dont know quietvwhat to do. Im a 43 year old woman in generlly good health but am having excrutiating pain n my right side of face. I fell Friday on my daiy run and slammed my right side of face on pavement. I have two artificial jaw joints so i called my oral and max surgeon and explained what had happened said i thought i was ok but prob should be ckd . He agreed and scheduled me for his first available emergency appt for wednesday. Well at that time i thought for sure it be ok well im in bed n tears n excrutiating pain and have tried everything i cant get in touch w my surgeon and know he wont be back n office till wednesday. I dont do ers or urgent cares and dont know if its something they could even help me with but im terribly uncomfortable and cant speak or open real well. Basically right now LOTS and LOTS of tears. Do you have any suggestions. Ive done the ibproufen tylenol heat ice you name it ive done it. Sorry for bothering you but if you have time and have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
