Hi, just how serious is gastritis? I am an active 74yr. old with hypertension.I had an endoscopy and awaiting biopsy results. Endoscopy also showed congestion texture change, decreased vascular pattern and white specks with sca mucosa in the gastric funds and gastric body. Please explain. I would be appreciative.
