Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi my daughter is 4 years old and suffer from epilepsy. She had an MRI and it showed that her ventricles are slightly prominent, with proportional prominence of the subarachnoid spaces, consisten5 with mild global parenchymal volume loss. Plus there is mild T2 flairs signnal abnormality near the atria of the lateral ventricles, which could represent terminal zones of myelination, less likely areas of gliosis. There is no evidence for gray matter heterotopia or cortical dysplasia. Please help me understand Is this something I need to be worried about.
