Hi, my father is 53 years old and over the last 4 months he has had a swollen tongue and changed the way he speaks he has a difficulty speaking which has never been the case before, he went to a neurologist and he told him that it might be due to a stroke that he had and didn't even notice. He also told him to take an MRI but I want to know what could it be that is causing his condition and how serious it is.
