Hi, My Mum Has Recently Been In Hospital With AF.

Hi, my mum has recently been in hospital with AF. She 140kg and suffers from arthritis, is diabetic and thyroid problems. She is booked into see a cardiologist in 3 weeks but has had red swelling legs, wheezing and frequent urination. She is on 2 different heart tablets, a blood thinner and fluid tablet. Would compression socks be helpful for her legs in the interim or could they be harmful?
