Hi my name is Paula I have a 7yr old grandson and he was taking off Adderall 20mg once a day today and put on Strattera 25mg twice a day. I want to know if that is a wise thing to do when he is already very mean and talks about killing people and his self all the time. He has a lot of problems going on and is very far be hind in school he say's school is boring. When he gets mad he hit's and try's to get knifes and stab's at me and other family member's. He can go to other people's house's and they say he is good for them. The school say's most of the time he is good for them he just wont do his work, he can not read, spell, or even write his name correct and I know he can, he did 2yrs in kindergarten and when he went back this year to first grade he was not writing his name right I have worked with him and he just isn't getting it and I don't know what to do.
