Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi there- I have a lump on my abdomen right underneath the skin near my left kidney area. It's small, maybe about the size of a dime. It doesn't hurt at all. I have similar lumps on my arm and was told many years ago it's a harmless lipoma and nothing to worry about. That was 20 years ago, the lumps are still there and so am I so the doctor must have been right :) This lump on my abdomen seems similar, but I can't help but to worry about it. Could it just be another lipoma? Or how can I tell if it's something worse? I'm male, 39 years old and otherwise in great health.
