Hi there. I have a question about lower back pain. I've been reading a lot about sciatica and her is my situation. I am 67 and when I was 30 I was rear ended in an auto accident and ended up smashing my mouth into the steering wheel. I also ended up the next morning with this amazing looking doughnut shape right in the center of the small of my back. It really looked like a doughnut with the "hole" of the doughnut being the center of the small of my back. I have never had back problems and am in fairly good health. How do I know if this might be a pinched sciatic nerve that I am now feeling with new pain in the small of my back.
