Hi there, I have experienced a uti for the past week and have been prescribed antibiotics, 3 day course of trimethoprim followed by 3 days nitrofurantoin as the trimethoprim was ineffective. The symptoms have begun to subside however I have since noticed a lump which I believe to be a bartholin cyst. I experienced a cyst around 3 months ago while on holiday however this cleared up after a week or so of home treatment (sitz baths). This time however I am experiencing tenderness in my groin/pubic area in the crease of my leg at the side the cyst is on. I also have lower back pain and pain radiating down my leg. Is this normal for a bartholin cyst and at what point should I begin to worry?
