Hi There, My Boyfriend Hit His Head While Helping With

Hi there, my boyfriend hit his head while helping with some Christmas Decorations about an hour ago and his mom just called me and asked if she should be concerned (I am a Junior in Nursing School and obviously don't know everything). I looked at his eyes, PERRLA was normal, his gait was normal, he was able to answer all of my questions but he says he has a headache (which is rare for him) and he feels nauseous. He has had concussions before and he's not sure if this feels the same or different. He reports no vision, hearing or taste changes, no neck pain, just the headache. Should we still bring him in? Or see if the headache improves or gets worse?
Thank you.
