High Blood Pressure With Fast Heart Beat And Sometimes Pain In The Chest. What Could Be Causing This?
My husband has high blood pressure. Tonight it is 168/89 hr135. I'm very concerned. At least one number will be very high every time we check it. We check manual and electronic. He is on medication. He has told me in the past he has had pain in the chest that was "annoying" He has also had vision problems at times of high readings. He doesn't tell me everything. His heart rate runs very high. What could be causing this
It is not easy to say what could be causing this, without knowing what is this! Take him to an Internist / get him examined and investigated... EKG / HOLTER (24 to 48 hour ambulatory monitoring) / ECHOcardiogram / TMT (Treadmill exercise ECG) / LABORATORY work-up – may all be necessary for further assessment and assistance. The treating doctor may suggest them depending on need, based on his assessment of the situation.
Good luck Take care Wishing all well God bless
