High Dosage Lipitor, Muscle Weakness. Reason?
After taking a high dose of Lipitor for several weeks my husband developed severe muscle weakness in
his legs. (he had 2 stints put in). After reducing the dosage to the amount he was taking before it got a
little bit better but not very much. What is causing this and what can he do for relief until his next
appointment?

And side effects include
puffiness or swelling of the eyelids or around the eyes, face, lips, or tongue
shortness of breath
skin rash
tightness in the chest.
