High Fever, Red Spots On Foot And Palms. Itchy, Looks Like Ulcer. What's This ?
hi, i have a high fever for two days and a few red spots developed on my skin mostly foot and palms. my fever's gone now, but the red spots still developing. the spots look like mouth ulcer, but it is not that bubbly. it feels itchy but when scratch or touch, i can say that it hurt as if it is swollen from inside. the spots shape are in various shape and size. Can you clarify to me what is this disease?
Hi thanks for writing to health care magic.Skin rash and fever are mostly suggestive of viral infection.Since you have lesions only on your hands and soles this could be a hand foot and mouth disease.Look for any ulcers in your mouth,If you have ulcers then it may be Hand foot and mouth disease.Other diagnosis is erythyma multiforme where target like lesions occur on hands and foot .It is common after herpitic infections .Exact diagnosis can be made by a dermatologist and it will be better to consult him.Take care.
